THINGS TO DO
We are continually adding to this page . .

Of course there's loads to do in the area, but don't forget to simply relax in the garden and enjoy the view!

WALKING

We especially cater for walkers - we have attained our 'Walkers Welcome' grading from Enjoy England Tourist Board for the facilities we provide. We are ideally situated for some excellent walking - not only right from your doorstep with direct access onto the Malvern Hills, but as a base for making trips into the Wye Valley, the Welsh mountains or Cotswolds. For a really great site about walking in the Malverns: www.malverntrail.co.uk

EATING OUT IN MALVERN

One of your reasons to visit Malvern should be to eat out at the excellent PEPPER AND OZ brasserie, which we cannot recommend highly enough. Their very warm and friendly welcome and attentive personal service ensure a relaxing and enjoyable wining and dining experience. Their menus are designed to enable you to enjoy three course each with a matching wine... and so their wines are served as small as 50ml glasses. Wherever possible their ingredients are locally sourced and all their meat is organic. For more information or to book a table visit www.pepperandoz.co.uk

EASTNOR CASTLE

The dramatic Eastnor Castle, surrounded by a beautiful deer park, arboretum and lake - is a fascinating visitor attraction on our doorstep about 10 minutes drive away and we recommend a visit while staying here. The Castle is also a venue for weddings, private parties, corporate entertainment, team building, product launches and location filming. As Walkers End is so close we make a convenient base to stay for wedding or party guests etc. Events are also held on the Deer Park at Eastnor, click here for a link to their programme.

MALVERN THEATRES

We are extremely fortunate to be on the doorstep for Malvern Theatres  which is one of the country's leading regional arts centres. It comprises three auditoria: the 800-seat Festival Theatre, famous for its programme of top touring drama and musicals; the Forum Theatre, a flexible space used for concerts and dance as well as a 400-seat cinema. Walkers End is only 5 minutes drive away, making it an ideal location whether visiting or performing at the theatre. Click here to view their extensive programme.

 WORCESTER CATHEDRAL

Worcester Cathedral is one of England's most stunning buildings, with royal tombs, medieval cloisters, an ancient crypt, Chapter House and magnificent Victorian stained glass.

The present Cathedral building was begun in 1084. It is dedicated to Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary. King John's tomb, Prince Arthur's chantry, the early 12th Century Chapter House and St. Wulfstan's crypt can all be seen within the Cathedral.

Worcester Cathedral is a superb venue for classical concerts that are held regularly. Every third year in August the Cathedral hosts the oldest music festival in Europe – the Three Choirs Festival, last held here in 2008.

CREATIVE BREAKS

Creative Breaks offer a range of creative courses from crafts to cooking, painting to personal development, all taking place in rural Herefordshire and neighbouring counties. Walkers End makes an inspiring place to stay during a course - the previous owner of the cottage was an artist who drew inspiration from the location, our loft bedroom was her working studio! We are very close to Eastnor Pottery.
